Kunoichi is a plum wine made for the purpose of “maintaining health,” so it contains less sugar than other companies’ products.
“Fine sake is born from good water,” and about 80% of sake is water, which is the “source of life in sake” and we are particular about our water; we use pure underground water that springs from the foot of the mountain for brewing.
Founded in 1896, we have been making sake for over 120 years and have been particular about the sake rice we use. We are devoted to making sake that is praised for its deliciousness using the clear water that springs from the foot of Mt. Sanbe .
We are highly regarded for our sourcing of ingredients and the plum wine we produce.
Plums have been cultivated in the local Iwami Ginzan silver mine for 600 years, and it is one of the leading plum producing areas in Japan. The current Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine is a historic silver mine that is also registered as a World Heritage Site.
