Import Japanese Umeshu, plum wine direct and fresh from Japan
No additives are used and the umeshu is only shipped after it has been aged for more than three years.
This plum wine is made using only carefully selected large, endemic “Joshu Shiro” plums from Aoya Plum Grove, Joyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, and is carefully aged for over three years. This limited edition plum wine is a blend of this plum wine and Uji matcha, a specialty of the Yamashiro region.
The plum wine has a mellow peach-like aroma characteristic of Joshu Shiro, a mellow flavor and elegant sweetness from long-term aging, and is combined with the mellow aroma and bittersweet taste of Uji matcha to create a well-balanced matcha plum wine with a vivid matcha color and a refreshing taste. Please enjoy this blend of Joshu Shiro and Uji matcha, special products of the Yamashiro region of Kyoto Prefecture.
